Terms of Service
Last updated: July 14, 2026
1 · Agreement
Syncento (“the service”, “we”) is a calendar-synchronization tool for short-term-rental hosts, operated at syncento.com. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2 · The service & early access
Syncento imports iCal calendars you connect, merges them per property, and publishes export feeds and share links. The service is currently in early access: it is offered free of charge, features may change or be withdrawn, and interruptions are more likely than in a finished product. If paid plans are introduced, existing users will be notified well in advance and nothing will be charged without your explicit agreement.
3 · Your account and responsibilities
You are responsible for your account credentials and for everything done with them. You agree to connect only calendars you are authorized to use, to comply with the terms of the booking platforms you connect, and to use the service only for lawful purposes. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service (including excessive automated traffic or attempts to access other users' data).
4 · Calendar sync has limits — use at your own risk
iCal synchronization is pull-based and never instant. Booking platforms fetch and publish calendars on their own schedules (from roughly half an hour to several hours), and any link in the chain — a platform, a network, or Syncento itself — can be delayed, unavailable, or return incomplete data. Syncento is a convenience layer on top of this mechanism, not a guarantee against conflicts.
You use the service at your own risk. Always confirm critical dates directly on your booking platforms. Do not rely on Syncento as your only safeguard against double bookings.
5 · No warranty
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that synchronized data will be accurate or complete.
6 · Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Syncento and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of revenue, profits, bookings, or data — including, without limitation, damages arising from double bookings, missed or delayed calendar updates, cancelled or conflicting reservations, platform penalties, sync failures, or service downtime — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose — which, during free early access, is zero.
7 · Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Syncento and its operator from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of a booking platform's terms or of any third party's rights.
8 · Your data
Your calendar data remains yours. You grant us the limited license needed to fetch, store, process, and republish it solely to provide the service. How we handle data is described in the Privacy & Data policy.
9 · Termination
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time in Settings — deletion permanently removes your properties, calendars, feeds, and views, and export feeds other platforms import will go dark. We may suspend or terminate the service or an account for abuse, security reasons, or discontinuation of the product; where reasonably possible we will give advance notice.
10 · Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email or on this page with a new “last updated” date. Continued use after a change is acceptance of the new terms. These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's jurisdiction of establishment, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
